We’ve had 3 Takeover days in the NonTox Facebook group so far in 2023 – Nonsuch Shrubs, ZeroZilchZip and just last week Sobeer (Congrats to the Sobeer winners; Becky Higham, Mick Malty and Rose Anna who should be getting their prizes shortly!). Thanks for all of you supporting our takeover days – it’s an opportunity to get to know the brands and their products in more depth. The ZeroZilchZip post asking you for your wishlist of AF drinks you’d like to be able to buy was the most popular post of the year so far! You came up with ideas such as Jäegermeister, sherry, barley wine, low sugar fruit cider …and a really, really great full-bodied red wine! Take a look at that post here!

Back in January, NonToxicated was featured on Janey Lee Grace’s Podcast and a LOT of you entered the competition to win a huge hamper of alcohol free drinks – the giveaway has now closed and we’re just waiting for the JLG team to make the draw. Our Bodha winners also received their prizes in January – would love to hear what you thought of their sparkling botanicals!
Our group has grown to almost 7500 members – unfortunately we’ve had hundreds of new members applying to join the group who we’ve not been able to accept yet as they haven’t filled out any of the joining questions or agreed to the group rules – if you have invited any of your contacts into the group and haven’t seen them appear yet then do give them a gentle nudge to fill out the missing info! Looking back over the hundreds of posts that have been shared over the past 3 months; Fridays at 6pm are the busiest time in the group so make sure you take a snap of what you’re drinking this evening and share it in the group..or if you’re looking for inspiration this is a great time to post asking for recommendations! You may have noticed a new name popping up; Laura Blackburn-Edwards has become an Admin in the group and is keeping us on track sharing info on all our fab brand partners! We’re delighted to have Laura on board, she is becoming more and more intrigued by the alcohol free drinks sector and is already on her third bottle of Maria and Craig’s! Please say hi to her if you see her posting in the group!
We’re delighted to see that a lot of the new members who joined the group to help them get through Dry January have decided to stay around, we’d love to hear from anyone who would like to share their story with us for a future newsletter – one of Lisa’s friends and group member, Becky Higham has just celebrated 6 months alcohol free and says “there is no going back for me, only forward to a life filled with adventures with the ones I love”.
